Water Wonderful World is a reading and coloring book created by a team of New Orleanian Youth about New Orleans' unique relationship with water.
Water Wonderful World was selected by Mayor LaToya Cantrell and the City of New Orleans as one of nine projects to receive funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Youth Climate Action Fund to design, produce, and govern environment-centered projects that align with New Orleans’ Youth Master Plan, the Big Green Easy, and the City’s Climate Action Plan priority areas.
New Orleans was selected as one of 100 cities to receive technical assistance and financial support from Bloomberg Philanthropies’ new Youth Climate Action Fund, which spans membership from cities in 38 countries across six continents, representing over 62 million residents, to support youth-led climate initiatives.
